MORTON STREET PARKING GARAGE: Why is no one ever there during advertised business hours? My step-daughter would love to pay her bill but there is NEVER anyone there to take her payment. Of course, your limited availability makes it next to impossible to attempt to resolve this issue.

Case # 158345 has NOT been resolved, but yet Christina Smith has determined to close it. Her response was to have my step-daughter call a phone number to arrange permit payment. Problem being she has called this number numerous times and it is never answered. The bill has not been paid (although we'd love to pay it) so I fail to see how the case can be considered closed.
Do I have to call the BBB or seek private counsel to attempt to resolve this? I find it rather annoying that you make it next to impossible for anyone to attempt to do business with you.

All of N Madison street parking by the Mill is reserved for permit holders from the Mill. When will permit parkers be directed to the Trades Parking Garage, and make North Madison available for public metered parking?

This is in reference to uReport Case #161251. I was told to pick up my refund at the Morton St garage office. I've been there 3 or 4 times so far, and no one is ever in the office. Can my refund be mailed to me, or is there a better place to get it.
Thanks.

I am writing to urge you to extend the amount of time between the issuance of a parking ticket and the date on which the price of that ticket doubles.
I realize I am lucky to have a secure job associated with a decent wage that allows me to occasionally absorb the cost of a parking ticket, for those rare times when I accidentally exceed my expected amount of time downtown.
However, it was not so long ago, when I was a graduate student, that I truly lived paycheck-to-paycheck, and had a lot of difficulty making it through the second half of the month. A $20 parking ticket which doubles in price within 10 days would have been a very difficult expense to manage. And it should be recognized that even those of us who diligently pay our meters occasionally run into difficulties that cause us to run over. At the same time, we often overpay for the meter ($$ for which we are never reimbursed).
In any event, a parking ticket that doubles in price within 10 days puts an undue burden on those residents of Bloomington who are in a challenging financial situation. I suggest you extend the remission time to 30 days to allow your city's residents to better manage their household budgets.

I did a search on Google and found the nature preserve that has my last name. I lived in Indiana until 1997. Had never known there was a nature preserve in Indiana with my name. Can you tell me who the preserve is named after? It would be interesting to see if I can trace my anscestry to the person the nature preserve is named after. It is ironic there is a nature preserve with my last name because I am active for the preservation of nature.
Thanks,
Curtis

I thank you so much for the fast response that you gave to my graffiti complaint yesterday! I was not expecting such a quick and thorough response to my concerns in re to such busy traffic and attention being introverted, and I am writing to thank you for your care and attention. Have a wonderful day, and I will keep in touch when I experience the needs of our city needing your attention. God Bless.

Do you know of anywhere one can get free mulch? In our old town we were able to get mulch from the trees the city chipped.
