A tree fell on power lines next to Willows Apartments. It must've happened during the last storm. It's been several days and no one has done anything, so I wanted to make sure the City knew about it. Potentially hazardous, also blocks sight when pulling out of the Willows Apartments.
A couple of weeks ago, the city (I assume it was the city) cut down a large tree along High Street, a short distance north of Hillside. They left these logs perched precariously on a bank, where it looks as if they are in danger of tumbling into the street, in the path of some unsuspecting motorist. Hello: I was in communication with Christina Smith last fall regarding a street light that needs to be installed on S. Fess Ave. Preferably 821 S. Fess Ave., as that is the middle of the block. The 800 block of S. Fess is totally pitch black, unless there is a full moon. I'm not sure why this completely dark street, with two homebound senior citizens living on it (my neighbors), hasn't become a priority for a street light. Please consider taking care of this soon. Fess Avenue. Each year, we install street lights within the public right of way on a petition base and available funding. I have placed your request area on are list for future consideration. I am the homeowner at 3817 S Woods Edge Bend. Can the city repair my sidewalk? My insurance company is saying this is necessary, and I don't know how to get this done.
How would I go about getting someone to come out to potentially issue a citation to a property owner about a dangerous tree? We just purchased our house and there is a very large and what seems to be dead tree on our neighbors property with branches that hang over our home. It seems like it is above power lines as well. I'm just not sure how to go about everything. The occupants are renters and I'm not sure who the landlord is, but it is a hazard that needs to be taken care of ASAP. My address is 1529 W 8th St
Thank you for the quick response and repair of the crumbling pavement and holes in the street in front of our house on Tapps Turn. This is an unacceptable reply and will be discussed at the next City Council open meeting. The West side multi-use path on Rogers Street between Patterson and Rockport, and most notably the section between the Hillside intersection and Cherokee Drive needs cleaned/serviced. It is covered in road debris and gravel/glass and is beginning to be unsafe for biking. I busted a tube and tire on my commute from Cherokee Drive yesterday morning riding over debris.
