N Old St Rd 37 between Payne Cemetery and Bethel Lane there are several that are huge. It scares me to drive through there as I don;t want to damage my new car.
The traffic light at 10th and Woodlawn Avenue has started flashing red.
We received a report from a resident in the neighborhood that sidewalks across from the empty lots are raised and cracked. -Hallmark Rentals and Management
multiple 1ft potholes
The roundabout at Sare and Rogers Road was damaged by an unknown vehicle Saturday night around 11pm. The vehicle appears to have gone straight through the roundabout, destroying two of the Mother Nature's signs and taking out a One-Way sign. See attached photo. There are numerous car parts on the ground, and it might be possible to identify the vehicle that caused the damages by analyzing these car parts.
There is a large pothole on the corner of Hoosier and Limestone drive that needs to be fixed. Thanks,
As a resident on the east side of Bloomington, I often find myself on 10th street because it is a main artery through town. I've always wondered why there isn't a designated left turn lane with a left arrow traffic light to help the traffic flow at the intersection at 10th and Pete Ellis. The designated lanes are as follows. Left turn/Straight and a right turn lane. People who turn left aren't able to do so easily because it's a busy street and people who wait behind them are forced to try to re-enter the traffic flow because other cars decide to use the right turn lane to go straight. Unless I'm mistaken, creating your own lane of traffic is frowned upon, so I'm constantly frustrated by the fact that I sit patiently in the left/straight lane behind a car waiting to turn, and then as I'm entering the intersection, have to watch out (yielding to cars that have decided to go around the situation) to avoid getting sideswiped. Perhaps the city developers could look at this particular problem and re-designate the lanes or use resources to get a new light with a left turn arrow. I can't be the first person to have complained about the safety of this intersection.
I have noticed multiple times when trying to cross the street at Smith & Walnut that the pedestrian walk signal does not seem to always be synced properly with the traffic light. The walk light often does not turn on when the traffic on Walnut is stopped at the light. It is incredibly confusing and concerning as it is a place where children often cross with The Project School and Rhino's being near by. If someone could take a look at it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
The roadway has been built up quite a bit in front of our house at 2006 S Sussex, resulting in a significant dip between the street and our driveway. This is causing the bottom of the cars to scrape when entering and exiting. Surrounding houses have had blacktop poured into this area to level out the connection. Could we have that done too please?
