The neighborhood has insufficient street drainage for runoff, and this has threatened to flood my home again after yesterday’s rain. It already flooded with extensive damage in 2021, simply because the developers have inadequately accounted for the necessary drainage. I have documented the issue with the ONE drain on the downward slope of the street, where the water pools, meeting my front door, and even moving four parked cars. I would appreciate the benefit of your expertise regarding this matter as soon as is feasible for you. I have also contacted my homeowner’s association for assistance. Thank you!

My neighbor is continues to drain her above ground pool onto my property despite my request that she not do so as it is killing the landscape plants in my garden and makes a muddy mess. I have verbally asked, sent a certified letter and after I did so she moved the drainage hose closer the property line. I have more photos documenting all of this. I live at 3515 E Grandview Dr, Bloomington 47408. I have had drainage issues for a number of years where runoff during heavy storms causes flooding in my garage. Since the street was repaved last year my garage has flooded multiple time damaging my walls and equipment. I tried to dig a relief drainage ditch in the easement but the problem requires a complete re-digging of the ditch that over the years has filled with clippings and soil. The drain running under my driveway along the street is completely clogged with roots and debris. In addition, my water main broke over the winter and the city left a massive pile of gravel in the hole where the repair occurred mak8nh an eyesore as well as causing more drainage problems. I need this looked at as soon as possible since the flooding is getting worse, although the relief ditch has helped some.

Where the new water line is going in on Arlington/17th there is cut actoss the road at the 46 bridge. It has been pretty deep to drive across but today on my way home the west bound lane has ~6inch drop towards the shoulder. Even slowing down I was afraid I damaged my car because you cant see the drop until you have already drove across it. Im in a bigger vechicle and it was a huge jar...

You did a great job fixing the crosswalks; thank you! We use those sidewalks frequently. However, pedestrians wishing to use the crosswalk to traverse Henderson on the south side of Winslow now face road flooding for hours/days after significant rain. The east side of the crosswalk and northbound road flood. Not only is this a problem for pedestrians, but it may present an ice hazard for vehicles in the winter months after a thaw-freeze. The crosswalk project plans available for viewing online do not seem to show a drain to collect and remove rainwater. Thank you for helping us all by addressing this!

The retaining drainage Channel wall below the driveway is falling apart. This is a serious safety hazard. Additionally, tons of weeds are growing inside the channel that need removal and cleanup. This over growth is another reason why the cracks are appearing and the channel walls are falling apart. Please take action promptly. Thanks.
