The lack of proper drainage runoff on this block of Mitchell keeps causing the gravel on my driveway to wash away. I have had to replenish it many times and it always washes away. This is now causing damage to cars when entering or exiting the driveway. Can the city please install proper drainage?
Intense rain is creating runoff from the prevailing property (3220) into our yard and the neighbors yard (further downhill - strong sewer smell). This smell has been noticeable on the front of the property in previous rainstorms, this is the first time we've noticed the smell through into our yard and the neighbors.
water runoff during rain storms and what the county allows me to do as far as making ditch more attractive and less of an eyesore +work better during downpours.
Every time it rains the culvert in front of/between Bruster’s Ice Cream and Small Talk backs up and floods like in this photo or even worse. The water remains high like this for 12-24 hours later. Each time it is also destroying all landscaping in the area due to high water.
The main whole cover on the sidewalk next to the 1200 building is opened up. A child almost fell in it cause it flipped up when they walked over it.

Hello- The drain in our cul de sac regularly is clogged and I've written about this before. The pipe which runs from the drain to the city easement drainage creek, runs through our back yard. The city sent out a crew several years ago and Phil Peden emailed with pictures saying there were multiple breaches as someone (before we moved here in 2011) connected to the pipe with gutter discharges or something. He said it was our responsibility to fix the pipe, but since it deals with city water using our property, I was hoping the city could help us. We have regularly had water in our basement since moving here and have spent thousands of dollars drying it. The whole water from the neighborhood comes towards us, as well as the golf course water down the service road in our backyard. Our neighbors' yard along creek is overwhelmed with water as well. For some reason, I'm unable to attach a video of the creek from the last big rain on May 20, so if you give me an email, I can send it that way. Thanks for your help .Kevin Murphy 917 374 8069
