This is my second report on this issue: Water meter protruding approx. 2.5 in the *middle* of the sidewalk near 438 W Somersbe Place (county). I have seen numerous people trip and one person fell but fortunately was not seriously injured. It is only a matter of time until someone is. The liability is yours. Thanks for replacing curb removed to repair water main break. But, will the city fill the space behind the new curb to prevent erosion and standing water? The yard was dug up by the city to work on the water pipe.
The storm drain at S Olive and E Hillside should be remedied. It is located at the bottom of a hill and gravel driveways uphill have gravel running down the street in heavy rains. There is so much gravel built up that weeds are growing around the stop sign and around the drain. Now, during a heavy rain, water cannot get to the drain and backs up into our driveway and gets close to the garage. This has consistently been an issue for years. Please remove the gravel and help us with a solution to keep this area clean.

We have city built ditches/basin along the streets for rainwater drainage in the area. I recently noticed there is a big hole in the middle of the ditch, lots of the water goes into that hole when it rains, looks like it keeps getting worse. Can you send someone to take a look, and get the hole patched please? Can someone please check the storm sewers in the 800 block of S. Stull Ave.? We can see when we look through the grates that there is very deep water standing (not flowing) in the drains. There may be a clog somewhere? We are being over run by mosquito's and are concerned that mosquito's are breeding there. Thank You!
There are two storm pipes located just north of the IMI concrete facility on Rogers, directly across the street from the warehouse. One storm pipe appears to be mostly blocked by debris (lumber, branches, some plastic and other trash). The second pipe is mainly blocked by a large dam of branches. Water is slowly flowing over the dam and draining through the southern pipe. Yesterday, 04 Feb, the water level appeared to be approximately 6 inches above the makeshift dam.
After the heavy rain on 2/7/19 a pipe in the alley behind 1107 S Washington St continued to push water up even after the water level in the Davis street ditch went down.
