An area of the street at the intersection of E Hunter Ave and S Park Ave is always wet. This picture was taken 8:30am June 3rd, there has been no recent rain to cause this. I have observed this area being wet for weeks now, maybe months. I’m convinced there is a water main leak underground here. Maybe connected to the hydrant there.

Just something to check out: sidewalk surrounding sewer grate is crumbling. Could eventually become dangerous. Not sure of the support structure but thought it should be reported.

I’m sure you love getting these. I’ve had a small trench on the side of the road on the University Road side of my house. It’s been there for a while. Recently, a water line broke or something similar happened requiring the city to move a fire hydrant to the city easement in that part near my yard. The trench has gotten bigger, and with the new construction, it has exposed dirt that will further wash out.
I think you’ll want to add a lot of gravel to cover that trench and the construction spot for the hydrant. A new storm drain may be a long term solution. Anyway, if you can add a lot of gravel or similar (grass?), I won’t even complain about the damage to my lawn or even the lawn damage from Hoosier Fiber from last year.
