When it rains, water sheds to the west off the B-Line and drops sediment on the sidewalk along Kirkwood. It seems preferable that the water would shed toward Morton Street where the storm water drains can do their job. The sediment deposit from the rain last week is still covering the sidewalk on the north side of Kirkwood.
Some abandoned shopping carts in the alleyway between 205 and 209 East Wylie are blocking the road.
City Hall bathrooms are infested with gnats.
I received a phone call from a resident of the Near West Side neighborhood, who wanted the City to know how much he appreciated the Brighten B-Town crew that was recently working on his street. They cleaned up the yard in front of a vacant home and edged and cleaned the cracks in the sidewalks up and down the block. The resident frequently walks in his neighborhood, and has noticed improvements throughout. Kudos to the Public Works department!
the brick dividers on sare road by david lane and north along where hyde park village is are very over grown with weedsw, there never cleaned up. need attention thx

There is a large amount of gravel and sand in the street at the southwest portion of the intersection of E. Atwater and Swain Ave. This has created treacherous conditions for cyclists traveling east on Atwater and turning south onto Swain.
trash is very bad on south patterson from 2nd street all the way south even past west allen. really needs cleaned up.
There has been trash on the sidewalk underneath the railroad track on the west side of North Walnut for several months.
