There is a homeless camp behind our subdivision, Shady Acres at 708 S.Cory Lane. They have been walking through here to access the main roads. The neighbor behind me on Blue Ridge Drive has been dumping yard waste into the easement. I asked them to stop and they said that it wasn't my property because it was the easement under the power line. I contacted Duke Energy. What else can I do?

This home's trash has been piling up for weeks and has gotten to the point that it is often spilling out into the street and alley that runs behind the property. Many bags are left on the ground where animals get into the bags causing more trash to be strewn about the area. There is also a strong odor coming from rainwater settling into the cans with the garbage.

Heaps of trash piled high right by the street in clear view of Grant Street Inn visitors. This is recurring problem and an embarrassment. Is it that the City regularly forgets to pick up at this location? Or are the tenants really so crappy that they generate so much trash in such a short time?
