Bird scooter blocking sidewalk
Bird scooter blocking sidewalk
I want to report the randomly parked/near-encroachment(s) of, bird scooter(s), (primarily, in, (downtown)Bloomington, (IN))), city side-walk(s), public place(s), etc., (since, (late)Spring 2023(A.D)).
Scooter has been blocking sidewalk for three days and is knocked over.
Bird scooter blocking sidewalk
BIRD scooter dropped in front yard / bushes of residential house near sidewalk.
This Lime Scooter was blocking the handicap accessible ramp on the north side of the law school. In the area of 4th and Indiana. I moved it because this was a serious problem that I could not leave as is. 9:30am. Scooter is nearby still. Hopefully some enforcement action can be taken.
The Lime scooter is lying in the gulch that runs between our yard and Sheridan. The scooter has been there at least two days, and before that was standing alongside the road. (I've just deleted the photo, because my submission to you seems stuck and isn't getting through. Come out to see for yourself!)
Knocked over Lime scooter blocking sidewalk on north side of Hunter Ave. near Eagleson Ave.
Walking down the sidewalk next to Monroe County Public Library last Saturday and had to walk through the mulch/grass to get around yet another scooter. This is an ongoing frustration of mine. As a disabled resident of the Bloomington community I feel as if I am no longer welcome in my home. Scooters are constantly left in the middle of sidewalks, on accessable ramps and entries, and the riders zoom past without regard to the physically challenged members of Bloomington. It makes me want to stay indoors hidden away for safety instead of enjoying the city and it's offerings.
Lime scooter was parked in the middle of the road (within the parking lot). I moved it into a parking space to prevent future traffic obstructions.
