Sorry, this was the closest category I could find for my concern. On Kingston Drive, across from the Mall entrance where the Bloomington Transit bus stop is, and also across from the Target parking lot (side of the building), near the pedestrian crossing from the Current parking garage to the Target parking lot, there are big stones that have fallen into the road, coming from the slanted side at the foot of the parking garage. It is right at the bend of the road, so, very hard for motorists to see. And what if one comes tumbling down while a car or cyclist is just passing there? There should be a fence to keep the boulders inside or a heavy net over them, in my opinion. I understand that this is not the responsibility of the Current property owners.

An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! The traffic calming bump outs and the new addition to the Weatherstone/Hillside intersection are causing traffic issues. The streets are not wide enough for two cars to pass each other and I've seen near accidents. Weatherstone at the intersection is not wide enough for two cars.

I would like to request a traffic speed study, or at least greater speed limit enforcement, for cars traveling on East Maxwell Lane between Rose Ave and Highland Ave. The posted speed limit is 25 mph, but it's a half-mile straight shot from High Street to Highland Ave, and cars regularly travel well above the speed limit past Maxwell Terrace Apartments and several homes with kids playing outside. Given that Maxwell Lane is a signed bike route that also has a blind hill, I hope something can be done to slow speeders and reduce the possibility of accidents in this area.

810 W 7th ST

The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks.
