sidewalk removed in front of 1221 N Madison St. the west side of Madison just south of 17th. part of construction project. no signs or detour. street here is wide enough to block part of it to provide same-side walkaround. thanks!
sidewalk partially blocked by parked semi trailer on the west side of fairview just south of 11th street. i think the address is 629 N Fairview. this is the same property as ureport #187248, but a different trailer. thanks to work by Engineering, this trailer has been moved from this spot before. but we haven't yet successfully convinced them not to repeat the behavior. thanks!
Fiber cable is being installed underground on West side of High. There is the smell of skunk/gas in the area. This is south of the High St/Hillside/Moores Pk intersection. Utility flags have not been installed by the contractors servicing the area. The neighborhood is concerned re digging into utilities.

Can someone provide an update on the Morningside Greenway installation? We're excited and believe it was intended for spring, but didn't know if a more solid date is now chosen. Workers were walking the street the other day looking at trees.
AEG is installing fiber in my neighborhood and they have been putting their heavy trucks and boring machine on the sidewalk. The sidewalk from 14th to 17th on the west side of Rogers was already all cracked up from age but this is the straw that breaks the camels back. It is definitely much worse than it was a week ago, over almost the entire length. I want to make sure the homeowners aren't held responsible for this damage. It would have lasted years more without heavy trucks on it but now its decidedly concave and will almost certainly start giving up big chunks in the next winter.

Received a complaint from Julia Tobin at 4307 E. Bill Mallory Blvd regarding a 6" hole near the neighborhood mailboxes at the end of her driveway. It appears to be a location for fiber optics(?). She called AT&T but they said it was the city's issue. She's concerned that this hole could cause an injury. Who needs to be contacted to take care of this hole? Her ph# 812-345-3399. The apartment development on Gourley Pike has just poured a curb that impedes access to W. Cascade Ave. The curb extends into the approach to W. Cascade. There is no longer room for 2 cars to pass one another simultaneously to enter the street
