Sidewalk at least half blocked by trimmed bushes. Only 24” wide and no way can a wheelchair get through not to mention two walkers side by side . Then around the corner the same property has allowed there evergreens the grow out onto the sidewalk making it difficult for a wheelchair or walker to get past.
This property has vegetation overgrowth over the W. 3rd St. side and the Walker side of the property every year this is a problem every year it’s reported does the property owner not have a continued responsibility to maintain these walkways and site lines to the stop sign at Walker and third?
Plants on property encroaching onto sidewalk making it dangerous for pedestrians trying to avoid heavy , high speed traffic on atwater avenue. Plants are a trip hazard. Plants are also not allowing for handicap access on that block.
One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton. AT&T cut the sidewalk on the corner of Heather and Laurel. I believe the underground work has been completed but no sign of repair. Many older people and some disabled walk there. This is causing a danger.
