Nope, Public Works was wrong. Drivers exiting from the rear of Union at Crescent aren't going out 14th. They are going to W. 11th via N. Oolitic. Since that exit opened, traffic on Oolitic has tripled and they don't all come down the hill heading South at a kid-safe speed. Thanks for upgrading the infrastructure before development, Hamilton.
Hello, I live on Euclid Ave and have to make frequent turns onto W 2nd St. On the corner of these streets, across from the church there are overgrown plants/weeds beyond the sidewalk. It's impossible to see any cars coming from the left while on Euclid Ave. The hill makes it difficult but the plants take any vision left. I've accidentally almost involved myself in accidents due to this. I and I'm sure others would appreciate the obstruction be removed if at all possible.
At the intersection of Smith Rd and Moores Pike there is a utility pole that has had a We Buy Houses sign on it for ages. I know you cannot touch that. I was very sad to see that now 2 more companies (Guttering, and something else) have nailed their signs underneath the first one. Soon I will expect to see even more. A very sad development. Duke, when are you going to do something?
Submitted a report but didn't show up in the system? Someone is going to die, likely multiple, if changes aren't made to Smith and 3rd. New 3rd by the State is great but has caused something to change with the Smith traffic. Left turners are hesitating backing up traffic (no big deal) but they are hesitating because cars behind them are zipping around going straight while folks are trying to wait and turn. Meaning the folks can't turn safely, and when they do POW crashes like tonight at 7 pm happen. Please do a traffic study and coordinate with the State for immediate safety improvement. Please do not punt this to the State, but be involved, as Bloomingtonions are going to die; forget traffic, this is about safety. Ideally there needs to be a left turn green arrow only and then a straight signal but that may need lanes. So I don't know the solution, but cars zipping around hitting left turners, etc. is NOT sustainble.
Sidewalk along s Smith overgrown and crumbling where it crosses the small creek/drain 500ft north of e. moores.
Bloomington Power Washing sign in the grass next to the right turn lane, coming from Moore's Pike, to get to College Mall Rd
Another Music Lessons sign on Moore's Pike at the marquee for the AMC theaters, in the grass next to the road. Formerly reported as #173098, which I think was closed. Sign is still there, or again there.
Please remove the tend of "we buy houses" signs on light poles everywhere. Has Christian cross and violates fair housing. Do they have a permit?
Mr. or Mrs. Music Lessons must not be impressed by your Notice of Violation. Instead of removing signs, it seems that more are popping up. The one at the corner of Soma in the grass at Hillside and Henderson is back (ticket_id=173293; there is a new one attached to a street sign (!)at the corner of E Third and Heritage Rd S; there was a new one in the grass at the entrance to the Highland YMCA entrance this afternoon. Reception desk staff had no idea where it came from or if they asked permission to place it there; the one near the Timber Ridge apartment complex on Winslow on a strange pole still is there too.
