My boyfriend and I went downtown to visit the vape shop and eat Tacobell. He has an artificial leg and is unable to walk long distances. There was no street parking available, so we parked at Taco Bell and just walked to the vape shop. After all we planned on eating dinner there and it wasn't a long trip for his leg. Less than 20 minutes later as we are walking back to taco bell and we notice our car being towed. The car was still in the lot when we stopped the driver. He charged us $85 cash and would have charged $220 if we could only pay by card because he would have had to take it all the way to the tow yard. All of this because a handicap man wanted to visit the vape store before dinner. The car was clearly marked as a handicapped vehicle. There needs to either be allowances made for those who are disabled or more handicap street parking available.

2 hour parking and handicap parking blocked in north showers lot as well as handicap ramp. No city signs saying that parking and ramp would be unavailable. The ramp is completely blocked by a machine that is not in use. Workers reply was "Oh well"

I made contact last week about a car that was parked illegally in front of my house at which time it was ticketed. The problem is the car is still in the same spot, ticket still on the windshield, and I was wondering if there is anything to be done because it makes it very difficult to use the access road that runs along my house.

Delivery truck blocking all accessible spots and ramp in north showers parking lot. Lady in wheelchair unable to park in accessible spots and then once parking somewhere else, unable to use ramp because of truck. Has been there for about 2.5 hours

I have contacted the city both by phone and this website to find out why contracted construction crews have no liability for damaging a resident's vehicle while they are operating. No one from the city will give me a straight answer. The damage occurred September 15th while a contracted construction crew tore out curb corners at the intersection of West Third and Buckner Streets. It is my first new car and I had just made my first payment. The street was not closed and the crew blocked all of Third Street while demolishing the curb, making the street impassable. On the phone I was asked if I could prove the construction crew did the damage. I was home the entire day of the incident and saw the damage as soon as I stepped outside. I was told someone from the city's risk assessment department would be in touch. No one ever called. No reply to my messages to this website either. What is my recourse in this? Why is there no reply to a very reasonable question? Why are construction crews able to completely block streets without closing them? I am making a copy of this correspondence for my attorney. This resident at 1351 W Allen Street continually uses the handicap parking spaces instead of their assigned space. They do not have a handicap parking permit. It's been over six months that this has continued; I've been in communication with our property manager, however there hasn't been much traction.

I was on Walnut Street last Tuesday and there was a water main or something busted throwing rocks in the air and it damage my car I didn't realize I had received damage till my son looked at it on on Friday so I need to have someone fix this it's a brand new 2016 Kia and I have damage like from a hail storm on it was rocks so I need someone to pay for this I'm not putting a picture in because you have to see it in person I looked at it several times and couldn't see it but my son seen it and now I see it
