This apt is in the Woodland Springs complex. apt #B 22. tenant says the roof leaks and she has to use a plunger to get the toilet to flush. She said the landlord gave her the plunger and told her to use each time they flush. The toilet runs over often and they end up with ankle deep water.
Car wash on grimes does not close door when wahsing vehicles and debris and water being blown into neigboring properties.
Bug infestation in apartment, questionable functioning of water heater. Spoke w/ an inspector (MA).
Water heater turned off Feb. 7th, believes there to be a problem with the heater. Turned on at her request today (March 08) but nothing done. Fears heater not functioning properly.
Frasier stated that she had talked with Tom Todd last year about this problem. The water runoff from East Side Drive goes across her driveway and pools there. The water has caused potholes to form at the end of her drive. She put up a fence to prevent people from parking in her yard. She wondered if the City would, therefore, fill in the potholes for her. Recv'd request to check out the existing water service at 910 N Madison St. Property owner, Chris Sims, explained that the road was raised awhile back and now the meter sets much lower than the current street elevation. He plans to build a new 2-bdrm home soon on this lot and wants the meter raised to meet the elevation of the new home & the street. He requests that CBU evaluate his request and call him back at 812-327-6290 to advise him whether work needs to be completed before he begins to bring in additional fill for the lot. I also mentioned to him that he will need to complete updated new service forms to ensure that the existing service will be sufficient for the new home. While CBU is on-site, please verify the status of the existing service...will it need to be updated/changed out, or is it adequate for the new home going in?
Utilities notified the fire department that Southern Winds has re-routed domestic water to a fire line. Usage has been high on the fire line and they will be back-billed to Jan. 1997. Utilities want inspector to check it out to make sure that the fire systems are safe.
The house located directly south of 1130 E. Atwater (on Ballantine Road) has lots of trash in the back yard. Now there is a hot water heater in the yard. Mr. Fratianni is upset because this is his second complaint and nothing has improved.
Refrigerator in back yard and a bathtub full of water drawing bugs.
