two properties above us the road all the water on the road goes into the yard comes down toward are house crossing on road since it is all down hill into the neighbors beside us into my yard. it drains.in front of my garage and runs on my . about 3 to 4 inches of water on my side walk .side walk. also the road south of us also runs in neighbor east of my house also runs runs to my house. South of me there is a a large building about 40 feet long that doesn't have gutters it runs down across the road on neighbors which in turn runs toward my house. II have pictures to send in the mail which I wi8ll need to send you because I don't know how to send them in the mail. I have spent 400.00 to put a ridge to keep from running in my yard. I also had a drain dug in my drive about 4 feet from the fence running about 2 foot deep running toward the drain in the back of my house that cost me 650.00. I will write on the back of the picture that will explain what they are for when I send them thank you and I will write on the back . Also in front of garage my small car is on ramps so the water will not get my brake shoes wet and i have to not park my other car about7 feet from the garage so i can;t park a car behind my car. The water runoff from Sare Road travels down McCartney Lane to end in a very small drain that is not large enough to facilitate proper drainage. This photo was from yesterday‘s mild rain. At times the water is much deeper and standing longer because the drain is clogged. A larger drain needs to be installed or possibly an additional drain as well, further up the road. This may be leading to erosion of soil and possibly foundation issues and needs to be addressed soon. We are also due to have our road paved this year so the drainage would need to be fixed prior to that. Please advise.

Drainage ditch near the street in front of my residence has developed deep holes over the past several decades that I have attempted to fill continuously wash out. Could there possibly be in break in the water main? Thank you for looking into this matter.

Our ask: Please retrench or otherwise definitively fix the water issue flowing from the high side of Brooks drive (addresses: 1213 and 1215) to the low side (address 2110 east Covenanter drive). Why: When heavy rains occur, high side water floods our yard and garden, resulting in 6 hours of work in clean up. History: In 2017 or thereabouts, the residents of 2110 east Covenanter reached out to the city regarding the water flow issue. At that time Phil Peden was the team lead. He showed me that the high side of Brooks had previously been trenched and there was piping under Brooks drive leading the water to Jackson Creek. He approached the 2 families in hopes of re-trenching, as he said it was the city’s responsibility to manage the water issue, as they had previously. Unfortunately, Phil was met with extreme resistance. To minimize neighbor impact, Phil’s team did trench some, and resolved 30% of the flow issue. He and I had a verbal agreement that I would try efforts on the low side of Brooks to protect my property from flooding. It seems that with the heavier rains, there remains a major issue of flooding despite years of my best attempts. At this time, I would appreciate further attention into this matter and a sustained / definitive fix from the city. Additionally, rocks from 1213 gravel drive continue to migrate across Brooks and deposit in my yard. I have been sweeping them back to their drive.

Our neighbours have hooked pipes to their gutter drainage, and routed all that water under ground and out into our property, causing flooding and erosion. Multiple pipes are visible and at least one is causing a retaining wall to collapse. Please note your website crashes whenever I try to attach a picture.

The new builders on the corner of Covenanter Drive and High Street installed a pipe last week. Our concern is that the pipe was not installed low enough to keep the flow of water continuing to High street and beyond. With the rainy season coming...we are concerned that the pipe will make water back up on our property. The city just spent two weeks closing off High street to fix this issue and now we are concerned that the new builders have just put something in (but not properly installed it) so they could have a little rock culvert to get to their property off of Covenanter Drive. I sent an email to Vic Kelson and Brandon Prince on Thursday, but never heard back from them. I am writing again because we would like this matter to be taken care of now before they get more involved with building and it is too late to fix the problem. I would appreciate if somebody would get back with me on this matter. Thank you.

At the dead-end of 13th Street where it does not connect with Madison Street, there appears to be no drainage route for water to leave. During rain, it ponds, blocking the sidewalk and the road. The pond remains well after the rain stops. Can some provision for drainage be provided?
