Restaurants on the north side of the 100 block of E Kirkwood are completely taking up the ENTIRE STREET. Pedestrians can still use the sidewalk, but what are bicycles supposed to do? Restaurant outdoor dining tables are curb to curb (and out of 35+ tables on a Sunday afternoon, exactly 1 table had customers.) It would be a lot better for private businesses to set up to SHARE the public street rather than make it impossible for bicycles to get through without taking a detour or dismounting.

The intersection of Pete Ellis Dr./Discovery Parkway and 10th Street is used by residents of numerous apartment complexes, bus riders, and community members accessing the post office and the greenway that goes along 10th St. The intersection is necessary for access to Indiana University from Woodbridge and Fountain Park Apartments, which hosts many graduate students. However, there is no crosswalk, pedestrian lights, or sidewalk platforms to allow for safe crossing along this very busy intersection. Additionally, the traffic lights are not able to be seen from the four corners of the intersection, forcing pedestrians to make an educated guess on when to cross. In short, the intersection is dangerous and near impossible to cross. Would it be at all possible in the future to include a) a crosswalk b) a pedestrian crosswalk light c) sidewalk cutout/curb ramps on the two corners in which there is not one currently? My neighbor has great Danes that she lets defecate along the sidewalk on the grassy area down Monroe street and in the grassy field between her house at 643 Monroe Street and 11th Street. She does not pick up her dogs feces and it's becoming a health hazard.

This sidewalk is so uneven that I cannot navigate it safely with my power chair. Even if we are going to the WonderLab, we usually cross to the south side of the street for this block and then back to the north side again to continue on our way.

Massive piles of trash are blocking the sidewalk as of 8:45pm on Wednesday May 10. Piles are in front of 424 E. 6th Street and 426 E. 6th Street. Hopefully it is trash night and it won't be there in the morning.

This is Rebekah Deckard responding to the email on people making it difficult for me to get in vehicles of those who come to pick me up to go places to not only being physically disabled but legally blind. I attempted to reply to the email on there being a parking pad cancaretakers (I have help besides caretakers. Ex: rides to church) not pick me up there. I am certain I stated how all park in the front to the house being on the corner intersecting with two roads it is on a slope/ hill. So the driveway is very difficult for me. When some have parked there (to my front entrance of sidewalk very close to it being blocked basically) the door of the passenger side I am in almost shuts on my leg. I am also 4'10" so this makes things more difficult to most do not have smaller lower sitting vehicles I can just step out of.. in fact sometimes I must use a step stool type device to get into the vehicle. As well as the steps to enter the back pose a risk of my falling. I request others not use the back entrance to the storm door is off balance so it does not close properly. Despite maintenance trying to remedy this. Again, I was certain I stated why I do not use the entrance with the driveway in my original contact. As stated already as well, I tried to reply to the email on thisbonnthe 22. It was returned to me.ni have had medical appointments the past two days so had no time to be online much.
