Quite a few people seem to be living under the bridge in tents, spilling out onto the adjacent sidewalk and blocking it. There are also tents behind the closed car wash near the downtown post office. I hope we find better homes for these individuals.

Ticket 176182. Going on a month for a reply and trying to figure out how to reply to your questions. Our house is on corner of Smith road and Stonegate Drive. The tree is too large for where it was planted on the City Easement. The roots are tearing up yard. The branches are large and hit cars parked on street and also impacts pedestrians using public sidewalk. Thank you. Trish Ierino 3900 Stonegate Dr 812 322 9331

Excessive Growth: Why has case #174610 still open (first reported on Febr. 1, 2021)? On E First Street: low hanging branches over the sidewalk. The address of the house, though, is 713 Clifton. Why cannot the home owner be told to cut back the long grasses and tree branches?
I'm very excited to see the new High Street multi path finally being developed, however I do have 2 concerns about the project. First, access for our Sycamore Knolls neighborhood into the Jackson Creek Trail has been effectively cut off during construction, and there is really no safe way to bike to the trail with small children unless you ride on High Street. Better consideration should have been given to maintain pedestrian access after removing the existing sidewalk on High Street. Second, it is disappointing that the trail will end at Arden. It would have been nice to see in continue north for another half mile to Marilyn/Covenanter, and connect into the existing Covenanter Greenway. That would have greatly expanding access for the Southeast side of town towards the B-Line trail utilizing this existing greenway.
