This morning (1/19/21) our water heater broke and we had to have an emergency water shut off. Our water heater was fixed by 10am and I called to have our water turned back on. I was PROMISED that a technician would be by before 6pm to turn our water back on. No one arrived so I called the office and received a very rude response when I called to check if someone was still coming. I was told we would just have to be serviced the next day, even though I was told I would be serviced on the 19th and never was. This is a true inconvenience and we received an incredibly rude response.

As a patient of dental office near Mother Bears Pizza, we are not able to park in their parking lot due to Mother Bear's employees and customers parking in the lot. The office has towed cars off because people don't pay attention to the 'No Parking' or simply they don't care. Come on, be a little bit more respectful to another business. It's their parking lot....word is that they are going to put up a gate!

When they want you to get off the ice; they blare the loudest horn. It's the hockey goal horn; but it is completely unexpected. It startled the crap out of us; and two of us fell down; and our youngest sister fell forward and dislocated her knee; so the last thing we did in the night was help her out of the facility. How about; I don't know; turning off the music when you want people to leave? Or just telling us! Or anything that doesn't scare people and cause injuries. It was a shitty way to end the night; and if you want people to get off the ice do so without risking a lawsuit. Will probably not ice skate again; anywhere. Charles A. Northrop, Assistant Director of Real Estate Administration, Real Estate Department, Office of the Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities, Indiana University, advised me on 4/13/21 to contact the City of Bloomington Public Works Department to confirm the ownership of the unmaintained embankment bordering 719 E. Hunter Ave. and the space that had been the backyard of the demolished house at 720 E. Atwater Ave. While he has stated that this part of the embankment is an unpaved public right-of-way alley, he also suggested that its ownership might require confirmation. Such confirmation would enable me to determine the validity of the trespassing allegations of 719 E. Hunter Ave. tenants on 3/19/21 that resulted in the dispatch of Bloomington Police Department officers to the site.

Hello, The street sign at the corner of Montclair and Queens Way is tilted and twisted. Large Moving Vans and Tractor Trailers are the likely suspects. This occurs several times each year. Is there a flexible version of the sign post ? Thanks Monty Marsh 812-339-3558

Rollerbladed Clear Creek today, the new portion the County must have opened in the last 1.5 years or so? Was awesome. It is unfortunate how little attention the City pays to skating accessibility. Smooth surfaces are key. Bike and pedestrian commission doesn't even mention skating. Can a skate-specific person be appointed please? Skaters take up less space in the same area compared to bicycles and can easily be thrown in a bag or office. It'd be nice to see more skating commute options. It's not all about boards destroying curbs or whatever people think. I'm certainly no teenager or 20-year-old anymore. Particularly there needs to be an east-west trail in town that goes from far east like the lazer tag place and Summerhouse all the way to campus, and then over to the B-line.

I am having an issue with my front ditch flooding every time it rains. This picture was taken today (June 2nd, 2021) during the light rain we experienced throughout the day. When we receive heavy down pours or rain for multiple days the runoff storm water puts my mailbox post underwater. Which, over time, rots the post (I have recently had it replaced). When the front yard does flood the water travels across the road in a 30-40 foot wide swath, several inches deep. When dry, the culverts (under my driveway and the one going under the road) can be observed as 95-100% silted in and obstructed. I have noticed over the past couple of years where the city has had the utilities marked and the culvert marked going under the road. Other culverts in the Park RIdge neighborhood have been replaced or repaired except for the one in front of my residence. I would appreciate an update on when this issue will be addressed.
