There seems to be a small water leak coming from the meter in front of 1119 Madison. It looks like a puddle, but down the road it is obvious water is running. I only noticed on Wednesday, May 22nd. Today, May 26th, it is still leaking.

I filed a report about three weeks ago about a blocked storm drain that keeps overflowing and spilling water into our yard. It overflowed yesterday, and it's like a river of water running over the street and into our yard. The water is doing considerable damage to our side and back yard--it's basically underwater whenever it rains. This really does require some serious attention. Either a more thorough clean up or repair. It's costing us 100s if not 1000s of dollars in repairs to our yard. Please try to fix this. The storm drain is clogged on the 1300 block of W 6th Street, and our house is 1315 west 6th street.
The storm pipe/drain does not appear to have sufficient capacity to handle flash flood events. Storm water from the neighborhood overflowed from the street, and then flowed across the neighbor's driveway and down the slope into our property, flooding our crawl space. Last night there was literally a small river of water running aside and into our house, moving so fast that I could not safely walk outside until the rain subsided. We need an engineer to evaluate the current drainage system, in particular the capacity of the storm pipe and culvert that runs directly between our property and the neighbor's. We can make some mitigating improvements on our own property, but we really are not equipped to handle the sheer volume of stormwater from the entire neighborhood during very heavy periods of rain like we saw last night. Corner of RCA Park and Susie St. During heavy rains manhole cover lid comes up into street spurting water from sewer. Ditch next to Susie St has debris and overgrown trees that cause flooding into yards and during heavy rains water from storm sewer lid being open causes water to drain onto Susie St causing driveways to flood and cause damage to surrounding areas
A resident called about runoff "behind the AT&T store on Willis." He said that he attempted to call utilities about it multiple times but the woman answering the phones was not helpful and claimed that it was the OOTM's oversight and not theirs. He did not want to leave his name or contact information with us. I'm not sure what the process looks like for this, but if someone could check on the water runoff in this area, I think it would be helpful. We have received a few emails about it as well.

Do the new water meters finally mean we can be billed by the gallon as opposed to the present archaic system of thousands of gallons, which is exceptionally adverse to water conservation incentives as well as basic economic fairness. Please say yes. It's such an easy change to make. Even X for every hundred gallons is a vast improvement and perhaps easier to transition to.
