Standing water in back yard after rain-neighbor to the east gets water in basement
Standing water in back yard after rain-neighbor to the east gets water in basement
Storm water has caused problems on either side culvert next to home.
Chamness lives in Hoosier Acres. There is a stream that runs by his property at 621. There are two culvert pipes that run under the street. Chamness noticed that after last night's rain there is a wide stream of water that is running along the culverts. The strip of water is on the north side of the culverts. The water is eroding away the dirt and he is afraid as it continues to rain the erosion will become worse. He would like someone to look at it to see if there is a problem.
Chih stated that the Street Department removed trees near the road, retaining wall was removed. She would like to know when this problem will be fixed.
The road is eroding away at the corner with Brown Ridge. The pipe has collapsed. Medlyn called in before regarding this but nothing was done. She would like for the Engineering Department to talk with her about alternatives that can be done to help eliminate this problem. Medlyn met with Bobby Chestnut, Street Department, 7/18/97.

Courtesy Pick up. Resident's trash was not picked up last week because it was overweight, overstacked, and the can had no handles. Spoke with director and director advised that we would do one courtesy pick-up. Courtesy pick up was done by DF.
