Pulling out of this alley either direction onto Woodlawn is a hazard, especially for pedestrians and bicyclists. To the right (on Subway/apartment bldg. side) is shrubbery that completely blocks the view of the sidewalk and street. Approaching it from the alley, we can't see if any vehicles or pedestrians are approaching from the north, traveling south. To the left of the alley is a rental house that has a shrub or tree or some other type of greenery that hangs far enough forward that we can't see what's approaching from the south, traveling north. We must ease our vehicles out into the street in order to see what's coming on Woodlawn in either direction. If we're turning right (to head north) when we ease out into the street for visibility, when we see that it's clear to turn onto Woodlawn it forces the front half of the vehicle to swing into the southbound lane. The shrub to the right of the alley (Subway building) needs to be trimmed drastically or removed altogether for safety's sake since the view of pedestrians and vehicle/bicycle traffic is completely blocked. And the tree/bush on the other side of the rental house to the left needs to be trimmed back enough for visibility. This alley is used daily by many. It contains IU parking spaces and parking for residential rental property, and U.S. Mail vehicles travel it daily for delivery. A colleague reported this to the city last year and nothing came of it.

Washington Street just south of Smith where there was construction last summer, the street still needs to be fixed. Last fall you said it was too cold for asphalt repair. It's been warm enough for a while now. It's especially bad in the bike lane.

On the trail through the middle of Bryan Park, just east of the boardwalk, there is a low hanging branch. It's even lower when it's wet. It's too low to safely bike under it and even someone who is not tall has to duck to walk under it. It should be taken down.

There is a pothole that continues to grow on Sheridan just to the right of the line diving the driving lane from the pedestrian/bike lane. The pothole is not located in the pedestrian/bike lane, but it is quite close, and has the potential for a cyclist to run into it when passing others in the lane. The pothole is just east of a green bench on Sheridan.

I noticed ice here a few times last winter but thought it was just frozen road runoff and it wasn’t super cold last year so ice build-up wasn’t significant. But it’s been well below freezing and there shouldn’t be standing water. I didn’t observe anything like this in the spring, summer or fall. I assume there’s a small water line leak underground, perhaps underneath the road. The road is cracked along the edge so there may be some freeze/thaw going on. It doesn’t seem to be an emergency — the flow seems pretty minimal but it does generate some ice south of the wet area when below freezing. I wanted to report this now that I realize what is going on. I placed a stake with orange flagging tape in the area where it seems like water is coming to the surface. Thanks for looking into this. Main streetlight often doesn't work, leaving the whole street dark. I feel unsafe walking home some nights, and when it is out, particularly so.
