Not sure what is going on at the empty lot at 416 E cottage Grove but is seems to have become a dumping grounds for old building material including a pile of old wood with nails in it. No building permit is visible at the site.

Monroe County Building department says a permit, but does not appear to care to enforce their own rules and issue a stop work order until permit is obtained. Top course of stone on retaining wall being forced off by progressive yard expansion. One section has already fallen, blocking sidewalk and creating a hazard for pedestrians in the dark.
SE corner of lot just west of alley and close to the sidewalk there is a medium-sized, water-meter pit that is uncovered. Lid is not around, apparently. Dangerous trip hazard at night, and animals could fall in.

Water quality change after city changed water system recently; both my roommate and I have been having problems with our skin. We are over by Lincoln and 10th street
Hi, My roommate and I have been experiencing skin problems (i.e. dryness, flaking and a lot of sudden acne when we both have never had acne) for the past couple weeks and we have ruled out any other changes we have made. We were notified by our landlord that the city of Bloomington was making changes in the water system, and when we went home out of state for a week, the skin problems resolved.
