She called to lodge a complaint about the speed humps that have been installed on Morningside Drive. She lives in Park Ridge east and can't "catch the light" at Smith and 3rd and can't use 10th Street because of the "awful bicycles". She says we have just created "one large driveway " for the people who live on Morningside.
AT THE CORNER OF MORNINGSIDE DRIVE & SMITH ROAD. THE CITY FINISHED THEIR PROJECT OUT THERE ABOUT A YEAR AGO THERE IS A SMALL PLOT OF LAND AT THIS INTERSECTION THAT HAD SOD PUT DOWN. Resident at 4501 Colony Court has a large dead tree in his yard, and when he mows his lawn he throws the large tree limbs/branches (which has fallen from this dead tree) into the street. Caller is afraid this will cause an accident.
There are weeds in drainage ditch behind her house. Utility has done all they can do; do not maintain (per Dina).
fenced in area in backyard, grass is never mowed, at least, last couple of years.
Renters always have 6 to 8 cars parked here and on the lawn. Mrs. Curry asked them to stop parking in front of her house. Tennant told her she has 8 children many that are grown & are parking their cars everywhere. Mrs. Curry said it is very annoying that people visiting her now have nowhere to park. Would like a call from inspector about this.
