Park Ridge neighborhood: Partnered with the traffic calming bumps are stakes with reflectors to bring driver's attention to the speed bumps. Nearly all of the stakes are missing the reflectors or the reflectors are damaged. Some of the pairs of stakes have one of the stakes missing like in front of my house. (A lawn service damaged it and removed it). So please survey and replace the missing reflectors and a couple of the missing stakes. The stakes with no reflectors appear dangerous. Like "Games of Thrones" dangerous. It was odd at the conclusion of the 2022 Morningside repaving, that the new version of traffic calming bumps was installed (thanks), but the stakes were ignored in terms of reflectors. We appreciate your attention on this item.

Four way stop at E. Longview and N. Glenwood West. Issue: vehicles fail to fully stop at stop signs. Hazard and safety concern for pedestrians and park users in this four-way stop location. Request: Mark stripes at each stop sign where vehicles are to fully stop. This to cause some attention to this stop sign issue where folks roll through and sometimes do not stop this causing danger for park users in the "hill area" chasing a ball and small children. Just requesting four bold stripes to delineate the stop sign marking on the street to emphasize the requirement to stop. Please reply so I know that you have received this request. The street light on Morningside Drive north of 3500 E. Morningside Drive has burned out. Would you please have this fixed? It is very dark on our street and there are many pedestrians. Thank you.

Hello - (Joe VanDeventer) Bringing to your attention the need to repave E. Longview Ave. Your department repaved a section of E. Longview in 2020 but the repaving stopped short of the Park Ridge residential neighborhood. This road needs repaving badly and I ask that you consider it on your repaving schedule ASAP. The photo above is an example granted from a water pooling issue that is still being resolved after some drain work, thanks! But the full length of E. Longview needs repaving. It is part of the E-W bike corridor, no sidewalks so lots of pedestrian traffic and bike traffic and a cut through by many avoiding Third St., and we have traffic calming bumps that will need reinstallation like you completed on Morningside Drive in 2020. Street repaving request for East Longview Ave. Looking for the 2024 paving schedule, may not be released yet. East Longview needs paving through its full length within Park Ridge, from N. Glenwood West through to N. Glenwood east cross streets. This would accomplish: -Repaving needed overall - Install updated traffic calming bump design replacing current full width bumps. -Stripe the bike path lane stripe as it's part of the E-W bike greenway. And thanks! for placing the stop stripes at the 4-way stop E. Longview and N. Glenwood west by the park. We have a significant issue with motorists running that stop sign by the park entering the neighboorhood. We appreciate your good work.

paint on the speed bumps has faded along Longview and the speed bumps are difficult to see. It would be great if they could be repainted. Really all of Longview needs repaving, but I know that isn't happening this year and it would be helpful if the painting could happen sooner rather than later to increase the visibility of those bumps.

It seems like something has changed with the signal at Third and Smith. If you were on Smith, the light would change soon after you came to a stop especially when there’s little traffic (early morning for example). Now, it takes several minutes for the light to change and allow the Smith Road traffic to go even in light traffic times. This causes Smith Road to be even more backed up than usual. Wanted to see if ot could be set like it used to be. Thanks!
