This light turns red for the major thoroughfare (Patterson) almost every time I travel that road, despite the fact that there are NO cars coming from the other direction (Adams). I can't understand a light dedicated solely to a school and college apartments to the detriment of the main through traffic, especially when no one is sitting at the light. It needs to have road sensors, not be set to a timer.

The trash for the Killion Building apartment complex has not been picked up in weeks and is starting to get scattered all over the parking lot behind my house. I have spoken with Woodington Management prior to this about the same issue about a month ago but it is happening again.

I am not sure what the owner of this building has planned, but it seems there has seem some slow work done to the house since my husband and I have bought and renovated our home a year and a half ago. In this time, we have seen animals come and go from this abandoned house, seemingly homeless people come and go from the basement and the windows boarded up. This home is in utter disarray. With so many homes in the prospect hill area being renovated and maintaining the historical feel, this is one of the few if not the only home that is a major eye sore on our neighborhood. I am not sure if there can be anything done legally to motivate the owner to do renovations more quickly or to just tear it town. Any thoughts would be very much appreciated to address this problem. Our yard waste containers were taken away because yard waste day and 'removal of unwanted containers' week were the same. I am not sure what can be done but it is upsetting that we now have to purchase a new container. I am probably not the only one. Thanks.
