Hi! After my scheduled pick-up today, I found my small-sized Recycle cart lying sideways in the street with its lid hinge broken. I placed it upright and took a photo to show where the lid now hangs from just one hinge. (I've attached the photo but am not sure it worked.) How can I get a new small-size Recycle bin? Thank you!

Lawn has not been mowed in several weeks and is overgrown, with grass and weeds going to seed.

I sent a photo of this via Facebook Messenger to the parking department, and whoever responded to me seemed to think it was a pretty big issue as well. But weeks later it's there still. I understand that there are reasons for manholes on streets, but to place a handicap spot right next to them is absolutely ridiculous. People who are already challenged with mobility do not want to step out on uneven pavement. Weird metal boxes that our trip hazards with dips in them that make puddles develop during rain is maybe the last place I would put accessible parking. Yes, that is the one area in front of fountain Square Mall that a slight ramp up for those who need it, but these metal boxes defeat the purpose. Even knowing that they're there. I have tripped on them several times. Luckily I haven't fallen and hurt myself. But somebody else might.
A previous uReport was associated with an incorrect address. Case #214220 is listed under 508 N Lincoln St, but the correct address for the problem is a couple houses south, on the SE corner of 9th and Lincoln Streets. Broken culvert, not accessible
New light installed by Duke Energy (replaced existing light) on pole between Parkview parking lot and Washington St is blindingly bright and pointed straight at my bedroom window. Even with the blinds closed, the light is clearly visible and illuminates the room to the extent that it is difficult to sleep. I'm used to there being some amount of light out there, but this is untenable. Attached photo was taken at approx. midnight and shows brightness and position of the light from my window.
Trash left out Sunday night for pick up and now there’s a bag on the side of it and it is still full, even though the recycling was taken out
TO: City of Bloomington City Council, Bloomington Engineering Department, Bloomington Planning Department RE: Placement of No Parking signs in the Matlock Heights Neighborhood COMPLAINT: The City of Bloomington has imposed an unneeded restriction. This restriction imposes a 24/7/365 ban on parking in my neighborhood and on the street in front of my house. The only days there is any parking problem at all is during football games with the top attendance. This complete ban to cover a handful of gamedays is extreme. In my personal case, no parking means that I have to park across the street and down aways, because across the street from me is an intersection. No parking there. And a fire hydrant. A driveway. No parking there. This means I have to cross the street with every load of groceries or anything I am bringing into my house, making it way more inconvenient and way more dangerous. I have been told that the fire department enforced this plan because when cars are parked on both sides of the street, emergency vehicles can’t get through. I want to point out that the residents in the neighborhood rarely park on the street. Everyone has at least a driveway, if not some kind of covered parking. The problem of cars parking on both sides of the street does not exist, except on those few game days.
