Sidewalk Requests

3401 N Valleyview DR

Case Date:
8/2/2026

There is a walking path between 3401 N. Valleyview Dr and 3361 N. Valleyview Dr that connects to BHSN. The path is very uneven and also overgrown with tree limbs and vegetation. Since students and community members walk this path frequently, it would be nice for it to be repaved to be more level and less hazardous to walk through especially at night. A light on the path would also be nice, but clearing the vegetation and leveling out the trip hazards would be appreciated.

Trash

906 W 6th ST

Case Date:
8/2/2026

Airbnb trash cans have been sitting in the street for a week obstructing traffic detoured from 5th St. This was reported last week and case was closed with a report that the cans were gone when city arrived. This was not true. City may have confused the address. I am attaching a new photo that shows the cans exactly where they have been sitting all week. Also trash in yard.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

420 N Roosevelt ST

Case Date:
8/1/2026

Hello. We submitted requests and called a few times in the past asking for help to repair the sidewalk. The ditch is now about 40 cm deep and over 1 meter wide. We can't walk on it; we can park on it. We need to jump from the street to the stairs to be able to get into the house. Zero zone for disability acceptance. Will the city help us fix it? If not, please let us know. We will stop keeping hope on it. Best. Xinrui &Erik.

There is a "tent" structure in the front yard of this property. The legal owner is deceased and her adult children occupy this house without paying taxes. The homeless people who congregate here do not have access to a bathroom or sewage system. The property is littered with clothing and trash. This property has been under an abatement, which I believe ended when the property was sold recently at the Treasurer's tax sale. This property continues to be an eyesore and a health concern from feces & urine (from lack of restroom access), as well as rodent & insect investations. I have also seen needles from drug use scattered on the road in the past.
