Dead skunk in Street.
Dead skunk in Street.
All of N Madison street parking by the Mill is reserved for permit holders from the Mill. When will permit parkers be directed to the Trades Parking Garage, and make North Madison available for public metered parking?
Someone parked at 1119 N. Madison is blocking the sidewalk at about 8:30 am this morning. This is particularly egregious because there is plenty of room in the drive and on the street for parking. You might notice from the picture that the sidewalk is also trash.
In the area of N. Madison between about 14th St. and 16th St it is completely dark at night. It's dangerous as a pedestrian -- especially as some of the sidewalk segments are cracked and uneven. There is a light in this area but it does not appear to be operational.
There are several potholes at this intersection. They have been filled a few times, but continue to get worse. Can we possibly arrange to blacktop this entire intersection to avoid constant refilling of potholes? If not, can we at least fill the potholes? Thank you!
There are a few unavoidable and deep potholes on E. Rogers street heading east after the roundabout near Childs Elementary. To be more specific, if you are driving east on Winslow, get to the roundabout (near Childs), then continue straight, which is when Winslow turns into E Rogers there are several potholes just as you start on Rogers and start heading up the hill. Thanks!
trash in yard, construction materials left for weeks
Trash from dumpster and donations left are littered throughout property and along Diamond Ave., W. Cottage Grove, Morevac Way and B-Line trail. The dumpster needs to be removed, contained or relocated. If the sources of litter are better managed the city wouldn’t appear so trashy. Homeowners and businesses need to be held accountable for the trash in our city generated from their properties. We should strive to do better. Maybe the next administration will take charge and help us get back to the beautiful Bloomington we used to have.
Please send a parking enforcement officer to overhill drive, Hillsdale drive, E 5th street, N Clark street. The whole neighborhood is overrun today especially with cars parked illegally along the roads without permits, in no parking zones, and along driveways and public road but in grass too.
