Good morning, The 4th Street Art Festival will be Labor Day weekend. Our artist will be setting up 15 foot tall tents along the curb of 4th Street between Lincoln St and Dunn St. There are some trees that will need their lower branches trimmed so that they are not damaged by the tents and vice versa. The following trees that could pose a problem are located at the following locations: Tree between 405 and 407 E 4th St (North side of Street) Tree across from 424 E 4th St (North side of street) Tree across from 430 E 4th St (North side of street) Ivy covered Tree at 424 E 4th St (South side of street) Tree at 402 E 4th St (South side of street) Thank you for your help. My son, Jeff Shew, lives at this address. He has contacted the city about having the side of the road mowed. His driveway is on a hill and there is no visibility coming out of the driveway. Saturday when I left this address, I had to inch my way out into the roadway to see if anyone is coming. Luckily for me, the car coming, which I could not see, slammed on their brakes and narrowly missed hitting me. Will it take an accident or death to get the city to trim this area????!!!! Please address the issue immediately and get back to me.

The traffic light timing at this intersection is completely off. Adams N/S gets a significant amount of time, even when no traffic is coming, causing backups on 2nd street in both directions. Watch 2 cycles and you'll see it's off.

The north- facing stop sign on High Street at Southdowns is almost obscured by bushes. I was nearly T-bones by a car flying down High St. because the sign is almost invisible.
