White sedan with a tan roof and cracked front bumper, parked in empty property just off the intersection of Oakdale/Bloomfield
Basswood Dr. sign blew off, in grass on same side of rd as hotel.
The multi-use trail starting at Basswood and Bloomfield Rd and eastward up to Walker and 2nd St has not been cleared. I realize this may not be a priority, but I bike to work and until this trail is cleared, I need to ride on Bloomfield Rd/2nd St, greatly increasing my personal risk by having to share a road with motor vehicles. If possible to clear any or all of that trail, it would be greatly appreciated.
Road surface deteriorating, leaving long pothole for left turn from Bloomfield Rd eastbound onto Oakdale Dr southbound.
Vehicle appears to have been abandoned. Hasn't moved in over a week. Southeast quadrant of Bloomfield Rd and S Oakdale Dr intersection.
Another potentially abandoned vehicle has been parked here for the past two or three days.
Traffic signal on Bloomfield westbound: red light is out
One of the west bound red lights is out.
When travelling westbound on Bloomfield Rd. The red light on the left side traffic signal is out.
School bus drivers are complaining the light barely stays green long enough to get from Oakdale through the light to Basswood or to turn left. This is my 2nd time putting in this request as I was told this light is maintained by the state and I would need to contact INDOT. I did that and they referred me back to you. Here is the e-mail I received from them regarding this: [email protected] Dear Ms. Silvernail, Thank you for contacting the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT). The intersection of W Bloomfield Road and Oakdale Drive/S Basswood Drive is outside of INDOT jurisdiction. Those roads are city streets under the jurisdiction of the City of Bloomington. I understand that you contacted them already, but I can confirm that they are city streets, which INDOT does not maintain. Here is the link to their website: https://bloomington.in.gov/departments/public-works/street and phone number: 812-349-3448. You can stay informed 24/7 by visiting 511in.org or by downloading INDOT TrafficWise in the app store. Spring forward into safety! Buckle Up, Phone Down.
