Hello, my name is Rob. I am a state certified Firefighter and EMT. I Collect fire and EMS patches. I really want to start collecting police patches. I'm not sure if people other than a LEO can ask for a patch but I wondered because I am still in emergency services as a fireman and an EMT If I could request a used patch from your police department. I was severely injured about a year ago and cannot go back to firefighting. I can scan copies of my Michigan fire and EMS certifications if needed to prove I am legit. Any patch I receive is strictly for display and never sold. I thank you for considering my request for one of your department patches. The house at 801 W. 4th. has not been mowed for a long time. The grass is knee high, and unsightly for the neighborhood. There do not appear to be current occupants, although it has been used both as a rental property and as an Airbnb. Thank you

I live on the southwest side of Bloomington, off of Tapp Road west of 37. I know you are aware of the traffic trials we have had and continue to have. 2nd St & 3rd St are severely restricted and consistently backed up, even at off times. Tapp Rd has been closed forever, and if you try to access the south side via Fullerton Pike, Country Club is closed AND now Gordon/Rhorer is shut down by Kroger. So you have to drive way out of the way no matter where you go, and everyone else is pushed that way too. We've all been driving twice as far, and twice as long EVERY TIME we go anywhere. Will we be receiving credits for our gas and wear and tear? No. ALL THAT BEING SAID, now you are going to shut down the eastbound lane of Grimes between Walnut and Rogers!? So 2nd street and 3rd street and Country Club and South Walnut/Gordon Pike are all severely restricted or closed and the city is shutting down another east/west road? I'm sorry to be so harsh, but it feels like you're just giving us the middle finger now. This would never happen on the other side of town and it's not okay. At least wait until Country Club is open. I understand that projects SOMETIMES overlap. Not all of them at the same time in the same location. So it was poorly planned without a contingency plan other than "deal with it". If it's a cost issue, think of all the extra tax money that has been received due to the extra gas and repairs we've purchased. If the city cares at all about west-siders, please don't shut down Grimes until Country Club is open. It's bad enough that as soon as Country Club opens, the Rockport/Tapp intersection will be closed and we'll have to cut through the neighborhoods there. Please, start/finish a project in some other part of the city. I know that the "you" in my message is not the you who first reads this, but I really hope you will pass it along to those who make the decisions- those who obviously don't live on the SW side of town. There is a large school of potholes in front of 3253 Southern Oaks Dr. off of S. Sare Rd. They've been there a long time and it's sad to see them feeling so empty month after month. Anything you can do to help? thanks, John

The sidewalk in front of 411 South Lincoln street is covered in a thick layer of gravel.

It is 3 days past trash pick up, and the sidewalks along South Lincoln street are still obstructed by numerous trash bins. See the section between 3rd and 1st street.

We had graffiti tagged on our building at 116 N. Walnut st. The word V.A.I.N was tagged on the building in 3 different places. The graffiti has already been painted over, just wanted to report it since several places have been tagged.

Graffiti on West side of the Headley RD bridge just South of the Lake Griffy Boathouse (3400 N Headley RD). It should be a simple fix. The graffiti is more visible from the water than the bridge.
