One of the purposes of UDO's section 'Signs' is 'to avoid unneccessary proliferation of signs'. There still are close to 20 blue 'Light the Way' signs on E First Street between Woodlawn and Eagleson. The promised 'signage sweep by Planning staff' must not have taken place yet. 'Light the Way' Sign at this corner is attached to a fence, which is not allowed.

There is a pole/light at this stop that has metal bands wrapped in two spots for a trash can to be attached. Although the trash can is not attached and sits beside the pole, that is not the problem. Today, one of the metal bands (which sticks out at the end of its seal point) sliced my leg open. Luckily I had a first aid kit, but that is dangerous.
We are new to Bloomington and just starting to learn our way around etc. We have noticed a mattress dumped over a hillside just off the I69 Exit 120A. It is in the rocks on the right hand side as you enter 46/45 route. Is this city property or state? It looks like a double or queen size mattress. Is this something that the city could get disposed of or it on state property can you please direct me to proper people at the state for disposal. Thank you
Large dog park at Switchyard. You guys were so responsive to my recent report, I thought I would send you another one. You have at least 5 broken sprinkler heads that are leaking water. See attached file. I didn't walk the whole park. There may be others between the big hill and sun shade area. Otherwise park is great (once the mud hole is filled in)! Us dog owners love it. Thank you.
Tim, Re: uReport Case #204545. Thanks for the reply. Any update regarding the big mud hole getting filled in, drain added, fenced off, or something? IMHO just fencing it off would be the easiest and cheapest solution. We (me and other regular dog park visitors) were hoping it would get done when the was park closed for 2 days. Apparently that was just to spray Roundup, which for what it's worth, was not well received by the regular dog park visitors. As one person said, "Who cares about weeds in a dog park?".
