The streetlight is out
The maps linked to the neighborhood parking permit applications have illegible street names. This is true with the overall map, as well as the first letter size map I tried (for my district.) overall map link is here: https://bloomington.in.gov/gisdata/mapgallery/Parking/ResidentialNeigbhrohoodPermitZones/parkingpermitmap_zone1.pdf
Seminary park and surrounding area is progressively getting more abandoned personal possessions and trash/litter. The answer that I get every time is that the parks department monitors the area but can’t do anything in between the times it comes by the area. However I feel like some city workers are not addressing these issues due to fear and other known issues in the area. (Plus political reasons) More needs done and people using this area creating these problems need held accountable.
803 Plymouth Road. Car parked in grass plus inoperable vehicles.
4301 e morningside. Branches obscure sidewalk being accessible
The residents of either 727 South Eagleson or 719 South Eagleson use a public access ally way (running between Eagleson and Swain) as parking for cars and large recreational vehicles. It blocks the way for utility service, trash removal, postal delivery, access to property and walking and biking around the neighborhood. Moreover, residents in either of these two homes are blocking parking spots and affecting traffic with green “slow down” signs placed in the street. Both these actions present an over-reach of private citizens in claiming and controlling public space. Please could you investigate and hold these citizens to the rules that we all live by?
Poison Ivy leaning out over the sidewalk at face level. Northeast corner of E. 2nd and Mitchel.
There is a black truck "parked" in the driveway that is parked partway in the road, and it's blocking about half of the lane.
At 6th and Indiana a tree limb has fallen into the accessible parking space. It was too large to move by hand.
The street/stop sign at Olive and Hillside was run over (again). It is lying flat in the street.
