'Dominoes Hiring Drivers' sign at the corner of 11th Street and W Rogers.
SING/PLAY (Davis family) sign at the corner of High and Maxwell, in the grass.
I was attacked by three deer while walking my 17 yr. old dog. It was in the vicinity of Maxwell and Highland. This is not the first time and I am extremely upset that the city is doing nothing about this public nuisance.
"Jay's Pressure Washing" sign at the High Street/ Winslow/Rogers roundabout at the trail entrance.
Multiple cars are parked lining my residential street I live on and some of them are blocking entry/exit to my private driveway. People are using my street for overflow parking for Switchyard park and no cars are normally allowed to park on the street at all.
The road/trail crossing at Moravec is dangerous due to bikes crossing at high-speed without regard to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The bushes on southwest corner of this crossing also impeded visibility of bikes crossing at high speed. The trail should have speed limit signs for bikes/e-bikes and yellow yield signs.
You have paved the path to the waterfall at Cascades to make it more accessible, which is great! But then you blocked off the parking lot right near there so I have to park farther away. Even parking with my handicap tag in the small lot by the playground adds a significant distance between my car and the waterfall. It is difficult for me to walk this extra distance. Please re-think this plan!
It’s my understanding that the alley from Jackson to Rogers between 3rd and 4th has not been vacated. Yet the neighbors have planted it and parked vehicles there so pedestrians can’t use it. I think the alley should be useable as an alley or if that is not possible, the adjacent property owners should pay taxes on it. Thanks.
The park at 2nd and Walnut and the Kroger behind it are becoming a great concern to many people in the neighborhood off of 2nd street. In the last 3 weeks at Kroger I have witnessed a violent incident and been aggressively approached by many people from the park for money, food, and other things. Even in Indianapolis where there are 10x the amount of homeless persons, I have never been approached so aggressively and violently. It is the opinion of many people on this campus that this park and the people in it represent a huge liability for the city. There is a campus of 55,000+ students of which half are young women. Walking in this area at night is not safe and there is open drug use everywhere in the park and surrounding corners. Of the 55,000+ students of which half are female this is a frightening area to be in and the city needs to ensure the safety of its citizens in this area.
