Re #184293, the city showers lot often has many vehicles parking outside of the striped spaces, has municipal plated vehicles (fleet) taking up spaces, and has individuals who are not employees blocking areas with their bikes and or carts to hang around and charge their phones or loiter in the lot.

Street & Traffic Signs

Case Date:
5/15/2023

Speed limit signs in Park Ridge East on Morningside near Park Ridge Road are confusing. Adjacent signs say 20 mph and 25 mph. The 20 is for the nearby park but another 25 sign is across the street south of the tennis court. The 20 mph sign should remain. The two 25 mph signs could be moved east a few hundred feet over the hill on Morningside and placed near Hampton Court to encourage slower speed on Morningside.
