there have been several rats spotted in this area. yards are overgrown and the garage at 600 S. Lincoln is full of trash and junk. Please get the yards in the 600 block of S. Lincoln and S. Washington cleaned up then maybe the rats will have to move else where.
the houses on the north side of the 400 block of west 4th are looking run down and a mess. the yards look unkept, there is litter in the front and back yards and there is overgrowth on the sidewalk. the sidewalk south of Owens Electric is nothing more than a cow path.
Mr. Leeds wrote and letter was received on 9/8/98. He stated he received phone call from CBU stating that his water was to be disconnected due to non-payment. He came to CBU within an hour and paid his bill. On 9/1/98, he returned home and discovered that his water was disconnected. When he contacted CBU, he was told that he paid the "wrong" bill and that his payment was not applied to the delinquent amount. He stated he was made to feel that he was wrong and CBU was unforgiving.
