Here is a photo of the driveway/ parking pad in the bauck of my house. To my mobility issues to disability it is a risk to the step. On a slope. So help parks in front to pick me up.
There are holes in our line: one under the sidewalk, one under the street. They need to be fixed ASAP (we discovered the holes when a plumber was clearing a major clog the holes caused) and we need to know whose responsibility it is to take care of the issues under the road/sidewalk. The estimated cost of repair is incredibly high, and we're trying to find out what options/assistance might be available. Thank you for any information you can provide!
Sewer is backing up into the basement of the home. The plumber ran 100 ft of sewer cable through the basement cleanout. Pulled back wipes and roots. Line not open. Tested line by flushing toilet and running kitchen sink. Line tested bad. There’s only 55 ft from basement drain to middle of the street. Plumber ran 100ft of Sewer cable without meeting obstruction.
Our water usage volume has almost tripled in Jan, Feb and Mar of 2023 compared to Oct, Nov and Dec of 2022.From about 11K gallons to around 33K gallons per month. Something does not seem right. I believe our facilities manager did have a plumbing company look to see if they could find any issue but I don't believe they did. Can someone take a look at this issue? Cottage Grove between Lincoln and Washington on the north side of the street, starting at the alley, sewage spears to be flowing east downhill from perhaps a leak. Bad smell.
Best Ride Taxi is doubling the fare without notice and threatening to take me to the police. The driver I think his name is Robbie ran a few stop signs and his car was not safe at all. I paid him and called the number again and they told me that the city rules don't apply to them> I don't understand if they are operating in town, how come they can violate the city rules like that? Hello, I’m a Louisville area Hoosier who visits Bloomington 10-15 times a year for #iubb, #iufb, high school events, and getaways with friends. I am writing to support bringing public fast charge stations for electric cars to town. The nearest for-pay fast charge stations are in Newberry and Terre Haute. Because most of my trips are up & back in one day, the numerous slow-change stations in parking garages or hotels do not help me unless it’s an extended stay. Thank you
Drain water and sewage water is backing up from the city lines up and out of the basement drains.
Signs downtown ask people to go to the city’s website for alternatives to giving money to panhandlers. But several of the links are inoperative. Not really helpful to people looking for options. Thank you
