The Street Department has enough things to do but we would like to add something to their list. The pavement along the curb in front of our house is breaking up in good sized chunks. There are a several spots that have broken through to the dirt below. One hole is probably eight or nine inches deep and filled with muddy water. We live at 3111 East Tapps Turn. Our street is an extension west of Olcott Avenue in Hyde Park. Thanks for your help. Steve Ulrey

Hello, My name is Jacob and I am a Recreation Supervisor with Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation in Missouri. We are conducting a review of our current Inclement Weather Policies and are reaching out to various other departments around the country. We are looking for any information regarding the following: • Weather Policies regarding Extreme Heat and Lightning during outside events and activities. • Methods used to detect lightning (Weather Apps, Specific Equipment such as lightning detectors, Payed services) • If you have separate policies for different facilities. My garbage and recycling was just dumped into the same truck. I live on Spicewood Lane and saw this at 10:25 Aug. 1 Is my recycling being reycycled?

A tall weed has grown along east side of S. Morton near the B line, between Howe and the dead-end of S. Morton. Could you ask a crew to clean this up so the space is usable, transparent, and clean again? I would not remove the tall grasses and trees near the stairs to the B line at Howe, which have always grown there. But the invasive junk north of that has emerged in the past couple years. Thanks.

Thank you for the quick response and repair of the crumbling pavement and holes in the street in front of our house on Tapps Turn. Near the alley and the surface parking lot on Kirkwood Avenue. that is located between The Kirkwood and the hotel and backs up to Wonderlab. We are getting complaints from residents of The Kirkwood There is a light that cycles on and off every minute after dark. Located near the SW corner of the parking lot Pole #162373 Light #40 It is the south facing light

I have had an ongoing problem with a neighbors cat(s). I am severely allergic and have told them this repeatedly, contacted Animal Control, the officer had actually left a cage several times at my home only to catch other critters and never the cat. I have taken pictures over the couple of years documenting. He walks his cat(s) and laughs when I repeatedly ask him to keep the cat off of my property. I am not able to open my garage door because the cat tries to get in. I should not have to deal with cat hair, cat waste, on my property. Officer Eubanks is the one that has helped me for two years. I left a message for her recently asking her what my next step is. Haven't heard anything. What can you do to help me. This is a huge medical issue for me and I need to know who is going to assist.

Smith and Morningside, thank you for painting a bit in the area but never did crosswalks there. Super important at intersection as kids cross, is bike path both ways, etc. Said would this summer in prior report so wanted to make sure the crosswalk painting wasn't going to be forgotten since painted other stuff in area but not them. Thank you
