Ticket #193611, was closed on, 10/8/2024 14:20:49 by Christina Smith. However, per the information below, the work has not been completed. My question is, how can a situation be closed, when nothing was done to fix the problem. The lights have not been relocated. The new lights will be relocated along the trail between Hawthorne and Weatherstone. Sent notification to Christina Smith, Anonymous 10/8/2024 14:20:03 Christina Smith contacted Anonymous Ms Stubbs, The two pedestrian style lights will be relocated along the new trail between Hawthorne and Weatherstone as they were mistakenly installed in the wrong location by Duke Energy. The LED lighting fixture mounted on the existing wooden pole will remain in the same location. Please let me know if this light is too bright by emailing me at smithc@bloominton.in.gov.

Could you please ask the landlord at 402 E 1st Street to clean up the leaves in their front yard? Twice now, their leaves have blown onto my property at 404 E 1st Street. I had my yard cleaned before Thanksgiving and again today, December 14. As you can see from the photo, my property (on the left) is well-maintained, while 402 (on the right) is not. I would appreciate it if the landlord could take responsibility and maintain the property in a way that reflects good neighborly behavior. FYI: I do not have trees on my front or side yards. I received an email claiming to be from the City Utilities asking for personal information to update the customer database. Is this real or a scam? Why can't you take the information you already have on record and transfer it to a new database? Also, if it's real, I highly suggest you put something about this on the current billing website for people to see. This just looks very illegitimate. The sender is from some everbridge.net address that I don't recognize. Screenshot attached. Thanks.

There is an abandoned vehicle in front of 600 W. Howe St. It has been parked the wrong way on the street for at least a month (or longer). It was just recently issued a parking violation ticket. It's a Ford SUV - License plate is 217DBF. No one has interacted with this car since it first showed up. It would be great if it could be removed - parking can be at a premium on the street. Thank you!

There is a dead possum on High Street between Arden and Queens Way. Last time I called Animal Control concerning a similar issue no one came to assist, so I am hopeful that this is a better way to get this addressed.

DEAD Possum (3 or 4 days now) on grass between the multi-use pathway and High Street between Arden and Queens Way. Thursday when first reported it was in High St (quite large), Friday when next reported it had been moved by the buzzards to partly on the pathway. Today someone has used a long stick (if you are looking to finally pick it up, you will see it next to the long stick) to move it away from where the children view it as they walk to school. Is there nothing in the City's ordinances to speed up having dead animals picked up? This seems like a health hazard and it quite loathsome to see.

Reference: U Report #199670 Per Raye Anne Cox, "12/16/2024 08:58:33 Closed by Raye Ann Cox The vehicle will receive a pink tow warning today, if not moved in 3 days, it will be towed on Thursday (12/19/24) morning. This is the process we must follow per the City Ordinance for Parking Services." The VW Scirocco is still parked outside my house at 404 E 1st Street. Please tell me when it will be removed. Per Ms. Cox, it was scheduled to be towed on DEC 19th; this has not occurred. The vehicle has been here since the Thanksgiving holiday.
