Large pile of trash piled up in front of building, in view of Grant Street Inn visitors.
Not sure what is going on at the empty lot at 416 E cottage Grove but is seems to have become a dumping grounds for old building material including a pile of old wood with nails in it. No building permit is visible at the site.
broken cap on hand hole trip hazard at showers fountain.
The walk signal at the NW corner of 10th and Walnut facing south is burnt out. The don't walk signal lights up but the walk does not. Thanks!
There is a red car parked on W 14th street in front of where CVS where there’s no parking signs it’s been there all weekend.
There are two bushes along N Woodlawn Ave (but one in particular that I am singling out in this complaint) that is growing over onto the sidewalk. It takes up about half the sidewalk and requires people to step onto the road verge when passing another person.
I wanted to propose the addition of a pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection of N Fess Ave and E 10th St. I live in Collins, and when walking between Hillcrest and the general courtyard buildings there are no immediate crosswalks in the area. The addition of white lines, particularly on the west end of this intersection (where there is already a metal grate where the sidewalk meets the road) would be very helpful for residents of Collins and would make the area safer for pedestrians trying to cross the street.
Overgrowth of foliage and brush from the property at 701 N Woodlawn Ave extends into the sidewalk and poses a hazard to pedestrians and passerby. Google Maps lists the property as bearing the addresses 701, 703 & 705; or 829 E Cottage Grove Ave.
The street light has been out all summer. With the students back I feel it would be safer with it fixed.
