I AM REACHING OUT ABOUT A SAFETY AND ACCESSIBILITY CONCERN I'VE NOTICED NEAR COLLINS THAT I WAS WANTING TO GET TAKEN CARE OF AS CENTER PRESIDENT THIS YEAR. BETWEEN THE MAIN QUAD ON WOODLAWN AND THE HILLCREST APARTMENTS, THERE IS NO CROSSWALK/PEDESTRIAN CROSSING/YIELD SIGN EVEN THOUGH WE ARE SITUATED DIRECTLY BETWEEN TWO BUSY INTERSECTIONS. ADDITIONALLY, WHILE WE DO HAVE LIGHT POSTS ON THIS PATH, THEY ARE ONLY ON ONE SIDE OF THE STREET, AND THE BULBS ARE VERY DIM. I WAS WONDERING HOW I WOULD BE ABLE TO SEE A CHANGE IMPLEMENTED HERE. THE COLLINS LLC HAS ART STUDIOS IN BOTH THE MAIN QUAD AND AT HILLCREST, AND THEY ARE HARD TO ACCESS SAFELY, ESPECIALLY FOR SOME OF OUR STUDENTS WHO HAVE CHRONIC ILLNESSES AND EYESIGHT ISSUES THAT WOULD BENEFIT FROM A YIELD SIGN, INCREASED LIGHTING, AND POSSIBLE TACTILE PAVING.

A question about pipe draining into Sheridan Creek. What is draining, from where? Over more than a decade I have observed the bank erode away from the pipe and the concrete support move (or is the pipe pulling away from the bank)? As a frequent Park visitor i am curious about what's going on with the pipe. Thanks for any info you can share.

Follow-up on case #205921 Response: Caden Swanson commented on this case. CBU Eng investigated this on 9/26/2025 and found this to be from the storm system originating from the sloped area near the pool.  No action needed. Question: In the photo with thise new case # (the left half of the photo i sent with the original case) there is a access ("manhole") cover much closer to the central path. Is that a cover opening to a storm drain that somehow connects ground water with the white PCP pipe draining in to the Creek? Thanks in advance. Caden Swanson commented on this case. Second night in a row (as well as other nights in the past week) where a jackhammer and other loud equipment is being used past 10:00 pm less than 100 feet from residential housing. Filed a report this morning after this occurred around 2:45 am and was told it was a "one-time occurrence" and would be addressed.

We have people living in tents on CITY property on the southwest corner of Rogers and 11th St. We have over 10 female employees working for us at 611 W 11th Street. We would hate for any of them to have ANY issues with people living on CITY property. Please help these people to relocate to a place where they may receive the services Bloomington may provide. Thank you for your time and efforts.

Hi! I was just curious if there was any way you all could fill in the mud hole with rocks at the large dog park at Switchyard? My dog always runs straight for the mud and leaves a mess, which keeps us from utilizing the park as much as we would like. There was another muddy spot that was filled in with rocks earlier, and that was a nice addition! Thank you! We love our Bloomington parks!

The intersection of N Jefferson St and E 5th St currently only has a two way stop. Drivers and pedestrians would highly benefit from making it a four way stop. Cars drive 40+ mph down N Jefferson St, which makes it dangerous when proceeding from E 5th St. It is hard to see if cars are coming, because of the street parking. Many pedestrians have to cross this street in order to get to campus. I believe in the last year there have been at least 3 accidents here.

Good morning, this trash has been there for over a week. It belongs to 1438 or 1436. They are the new renters on the block. I observed them put it there and didn't clean it. We sat in front porch for coffee and have to look at it for a week now. Thank you

All of the streetlights (except for 1) are out on the entire block of 9th Street between College and Morton.
