Line of Sight

1200-1298 S Palmer Ave, Bloomington, Indiana, 47401

Case Date:
7/30/2019

There is a blind corner at the corner of S Palmer Ave and E Driscoll St. I was driving south on Palmer and a car pulled out in front of me because they could not see me coming. I slammed on the brakes and I came very close to hitting the other car. If you drive by it is obvious that something needs to be done or someone is going to get injured.

Yesterday, for the first time, my garbage container was emptied but not my recyclables bin--they were out together. As it is full, I either need an extra pickup--or to be able to leave another container (old trash barrel)of recyclables out next Wednesday. Thanks, Jim Barnes, 1305 S. No issue, just a suggestion. Please consider public restrooms and water bottle filling stations in the downtown area and along Kirkwood and/or 4th street. With so many street fairs, outdoor festivals, etc. It seems ridiculous that a thriving city such as what Bloomington is would not have these amenities for it's populous. I figure if Nashville, Indiana can have public restrooms, why don't we?
