Street & Traffic Signs

500 S College Ave

Case Date:
8/3/2026

Dangerous Detour Arrow Sign seeming to direct drivers to go NORTH on COLLEGE. Local drivers will know that it means go north on Walnut. The city will be soon full of newcomers who don't know that.0 Besides, what is the detour for? Not for ConCen traffic, which does need to detour, but not there. To avoid the mess on 2nd west of College, locals might know to take 1st to Walker, but there's nowhere to put a sign suggesting that. A friend's mother was killed when she followed a detour sign like that. So, please fix or remove it. Thanks!

Nuisance Lights

1655 S Oakdale DR

Case Date:
8/3/2026

Except for maybe two (entrance and leasing office), all of the street lights in Oakdale Square Apartments have been non-functional since April. This is a violation of Unified Development Ordinance, Section 21.301.07. Failure to maintain street lighting poses a safety risk to residents and pedestrian and increases the risk of property crimes.

Parking Permits

1018 S Lincoln ST

Case Date:
8/3/2026

Not a parking permit question but i couldn't find the right rubric. On Lincoln looking south from around Davis but the photo could've been tsken anywhere along there. There is a solid white line on the freshly paved street to mark where cars can park. There is a much fainter white line further into the street. Is that going to marked somehow as a bicycle lane? Thanks!
