Officer Eric Dunn from the Indiana State Police called in and stated that the sidewalk next to BRI'S property on the west side of the street just north of the RR tracks is very overgrown with vegetation.

Grass is waist high; dog tied up (approx. 5' chain) on the porch; small boy (approx. 3yrs. old) goes out and plays in the yard.....dog feces, snakes, insects,etc....

Tall metal tower behind house (radio tower?) appears to be old, and the bottom of the tower is overgrown with vegetation. It's an eyesore at best and probably a hazard.
AT THE CORNER OF MORNINGSIDE DRIVE & SMITH ROAD. THE CITY FINISHED THEIR PROJECT OUT THERE ABOUT A YEAR AGO THERE IS A SMALL PLOT OF LAND AT THIS INTERSECTION THAT HAD SOD PUT DOWN. THE GRASS DIED AND MR. BROTHERS WOULD LIKE FOR THE CITY TO REPLACE THIS PORTION. THIS AREA IS IN THE CITY RIGHT OF WAY. JANE FLEIG DID GO OUT TO TAKE A LOOK AT SITE ON 5/28/96.
