Hello, Can I please a tree planted in front of my house? Recently saw out neighbors getting tress planted by the city on the strip of land between the street and the side walk. Thank you in advance,

Bob Falk, Street Dept. took a look at the property. There is a hole that is forming in the resident's backyard. The hole is approximately 6" in diameter & pretty deep to be a hazard. Falk put a cone over the hole for safety reasons. Engineering Dept. will want to look at. There is a pipe that runs underneath this hole that could be causing the depression.

Looks like beavers have built a dam at the small pond between E Creeks Edge Rd and Creeks Edge Path where it empties into the East Fork Jackson Creek. Pond appears high and creek appears low as a result.

Wet bottom retention pond damaged by beavers, dam eroded and may fail. Water pipe directed to the creek falls short of spilling into the creek by 15 feet and is eroding the bank and exposing 50% of fine-tree roots near the bank.
