This tree at the street has been dying for years and looks like its about to fall when it gets windy, we park cars near it as do neighbors and its big enough to even damage out house now. Can it be cut down finally?
The Madison Park HOA would like to request that this tree is removed. This is located in between the HOA property and the street, next the southwest building. This was previously requested on uReport case #204913, but the tree has not been removed. The tree is dead or dying. The two trees next to 2704 and 2702 have rot and limbs are breaking off. My neighbor was hit in the head by one of the falling limbs.
There's a street tree on the Southside of 1st Street just east of Henderson that is leaning. It might be pulling up out of the ground a little. Maybe worth checking on it before it becomes a hazard.
Trees/shrubs are overgrown and obscure visibility. If you're heading east on Dodds and waiting to cross Walnut, you have to pull forward until you're partially in the road in order to see if traffic is clear. This issue also exists at the intersection of Dodds & Washington (heading east) - you can't see if anyone is coming on that one-way road (or if anyone is about to cross the crosswalk) unless you pull all the way forward. This is especially dangerous because the stop sign itself is almost always obscured by a tree branch.

It appears a private (not city) tree crew has "topped" a few street trees along E. Tapps Turn. I know the city has taken down a few trees in the area due to disease, but this is entirely different. I realize it's too late to do anything for these particular trees now, but they've left the equipment on the street, suggesting they'll be back to do more butchering next week. Please ask someone check on this work before they do any further damage.
