I was crossing walnut and miller drive light today on my walk signal when a city of Bloomington trash truck nearly ran me over. If I hadn't jumped back in time I would be dead right now. I had the right of way as it was at the crosswalk on the walk signal. They never even slowed down. I am requesting if there is any surveillance of this light if it could be looked at around 12:30pm on 5/27. I was too shook up to get a number or anything from the truck but I feel this is something that should be brought up to the drivers of the truck that they need to look out for legally crossing pedestrians.
