MAIN BREAK AT SOUTH BOOSTER STATION
Anonymous caller called Public Works, and the voice mail message was referred to CBU. The caller complained about the sewage odor coming from Dillman. Caller said odor could be smelled as much as 1 mile away. Caller requested that something be done or she would "call EPA."
SOUTH TANK OVERFLOW
Public Works Dept. received an anonymous telephone call on 8/24/98 stating that Utilities Dept. employee Scot Osborn put a "SUPPORT NRA" sticker on the window of his vehicle.
Mr. Hamric came in on 7/8/98 and reported that the water he is using to put in the pool at Woodridge Condos at the Pointe is green. It has been green for 48 hours - no odor, no taste. This is a Southern Monroe customer, but he was advised to check with CBU because the water is purchased from us. The Monroe Co. Health Dept. has tested the water and cannot find cause.
Joyce Poling, Monroe Co. Commissioner, called on 5/20/98 to inquire about sewer discharges in homes in the Rusgan & Ramble area. Caller was referred to Mike Bengtson.
ELEANOR BARKLEY CALLED ON 4/18/97. SHE WANTED TO COMPLAINED ABOUT CONSTRUCTION WORK DONE IN THE VICINTY OF HER APTS. AT 2ND & ADAMS. APPARENTLY, A WATER LINE WAS CUT BY THE CREW DOING THE WORK ON 4/15/97. THIS CAUSED MUD BUILDUP IN THE LINES IN HER APTS. MS. BARKLEY HAD TO PAY OUT A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY TO CLEAN UP THE MESS AND MAKE THE APTS. LIVABLE FOR HER TENANTS. MS. BARKLEY FEELS THAT SHE SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR HER EXPENDITURES. SHE DOES NOT KNOW IF CREW WAS COB, CBU, OR PRIVATE.
NOT CONNECTED TO SEWER,BUT WAS BILLED FOR SEWER.
